Our Story...
Twenty years ago God took a small group of people and invited us to "hide away." Although we didn't really understand all of what that meant at the time, we accepted His invitation. We ceased promoting our church and pursuing members and made Him our sole pursuit instead.
It proved to be a costly decision in many ways - but the right decision in every way!
God became our hidden Treasure and in some ways - we became His.
We have now been Treasure Seeking for over 20 years right here in the Longview area but chances are you have never heard of us.
Along the way, some people did manage to find us. But only those who were treasure seekers at heart.
In fact, we often joked that if someone found our church - that was the first miracle they would experience.
Then, in 1995, we experienced a powerful outpouring of the Holy Spirit through which many lives were touched and transformed. But God still kept it all hidden away for His own purposes.
So after the crowds had come and gone - only a small group of Treasure Seekers remained to keep doing what God had called us to do - to make Him our everything!
Recently we have begun to experience yet another strong outpouring of the Holy Spirit. God is moving in our meetings. He is moving powerfully because we've invited Him to come and we've given Him the freedom He desires.
Every service is wonderfully unpredictable and often filled with surprises and manifestations of God's supernatural love and power.
However, what is happening right now is not for those who like things to be predictable or for those who are easily unsettled or offended by the manifestations of God's power.
